  1. Also available in left hand threads.
  2. All locking screws should be tightened equally to a maximum torque. Conditions may vary from the actual torque figures, however, listed values are minimums.
  3. All parts complete with locking screws.
  4. It is not necessary to use any type of locking fluid on the set screws. At no time should TAPERLINE(R) products be altered. The manufacturer shall not be held accountable for any product that has been altered.
  5. All items listed are low carbon steel. They can also be furnished in stainless steel or alloy steel, at additional cost.
  6. In the smaller thread sizes holding power of the face lock feature has its limitations. As thread size increases, holding power increases. TAPERLINE(R) recommends the use of the peripheral lock feature when applicable in the smaller sizes. Check your application for your torque requirements.
Piloted Locknuts assure concentricity of nut to shaft in high speed applications
Use suffix "P" - for Piloting Feature (Extra Cost)
Locknuts are furnished with both Spanner Slot & Holes.
Face Lock Screws may extend beyond locking face.
